Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-21

This policy explains what data we process when you use DJSsenger, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.

1. Controller

The DJSsenger team is the data controller. Reach us through the in-app feedback button for any privacy matter.

2. Data we process

  • Account: email address, display name, preferred language, internal identifier and, if you use Google, the provider identifier.
  • DJ profile (optional): stage name, link, join code, city, country and bio.
  • Activity: song requests, votes, poll votes, request status, points, level and badges.
  • Notifications and any feedback you choose to send.
  • Minimal security data: timestamps of actions and an irreversible SHA-256 hash of your IP for abuse prevention. We never store raw IP addresses.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Performing the contract: account, sessions, requests, votes, counting and revealing results.
  • Legitimate interest: security, vote-fraud prevention and usage limits.
  • Performance of contract: charging subscriptions and event passes.
  • Consent: optional product emails, withdrawable at any time.

4. Who sees what

Vote counts and rankings are private to the DJ until revealed. No audience member ever sees who requested or voted for a track. The DJ sees the display name attached to activity in their own session, never the audience's email address.

5. Processors and transfers

  • Managed infrastructure and database provider, with encryption in transit and at rest.
  • Payment provider, which processes card data directly; we never store card data.
  • Transactional email provider for confirmations and password resets.
  • Where a processor handles data outside the EEA, standard contractual clauses apply.

6. Retention

  • Account data: while the account is active and up to 30 days after deletion.
  • Requests and votes: 12 months; on the Free plan visible history is limited to 7 days.
  • Security logs and IP hashes: 90 days.
  • Billing records: the applicable statutory tax period.

7. Your rights

You may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. Contact us through the feedback button; we respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD under the LGPD).

8. Minors

The service is not directed at children under 16. If we identify an underage account we delete it along with its data.

9. Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions with legal effect. Points and badges are calculated automatically but only affect in-app game elements.

10. Changes

Changes are published on this page with an updated date; material changes are announced in the app.
